ABOUT THE ARTIST

My name is Carolyn Lee. I practice ceramics as both a hobby and a deep personal passion. Working with clay allows me to slow down, stay present in the moment, and embrace the beauty of process over perfection. I'm drawn to the tactile nature of the clay and the quiet conversation that happens between my hands and the form.

Inspired by nature - particularly marine life and coastal landscapes - my work explores the balance between movement and structure, pairing organic forms with thoughtful craftmanship. Whimsy and elegance coexist in each piece, with fluid gestures meeting intentional design. Through ceramics, I create pieces that are both lighthearted and refined, echoing the rhythms of the sea and the strength of natural forms. My pieces are meant to be held, used, experienced, and enjoyed.
